Sunday Roast: Plateful Perth at Edward & Ida's

Following the success of last year’s Sunday Roast: Smoker Edition—a sell-out offering that captured attention across Perth and quickly became a weekly ritual—we’re excited to return with the next chapter in our Sunday Roast series for the 2026 Plateful Perth Winter Program.

At Edward & Ida’s, our approach to comfort food is grounded in nostalgia, but driven by technique, exceptional produce, and a sense of occasion. This year, we’re turning to one of the great centrepieces of the roast canon: porchetta.

Each week, guests will be served a generous, winter-ready platter featuring:

  • Slow-roasted porchetta with glass-crisp crackling and sage & rosemary stuffing

  • Duck fat potatoes, perfectly crisp

  • Signature Yorkshire puddings

  • Honey-roasted pumpkin and fennel

  • Bottomless house-made gravy and apple sauce
